Help!!!!

I got a cd player to fit in my 2001 Punto, We couldnt get it to work as it it turns out its a High one and my original is a low. But I stupidly put a cd in to see if it did anything, its now stuck and I cant get it out.

Any idea's???? :bang::bang:

P.S. Yes I am female.... No i'm not blonde....

Hey there have you tried pliers to see if you could pull it out? how close is the cd to the opening?

usually with these cd players you can take off the front bit with all the buttons and digital display which might make it easier to pull out.

going to see if I can take it to a Fiat dealer today, we tried last night to get it out, but no luck.

Welcome to the forum. What do you mean by 'high' and 'low'? What make and model is the new stereo?

depending on how important the cd is to you, get a coathanger or some sort of small hook in their and try fish it out, other than that you're going to be starting to take it to bits, fiat dealers will sting you for ££ if they can even do anything :/

The thing is, there's no reason why it shouldn't work, so you shouldn't need to go jamming things in there to try and get the CD out if we can just work out why it's not working.
