I have a Fiat punto Grande 06. A few weeks ago my battery light came on whilst driving then my power steering cut out and my airbag and abs lights came on the dash. I managed to drive home but when I stopped the car it wouldn't start there was a buzzing noise when I tried to start it. A went back out a few hours later and the car started. I have ran the car for a few since no problems now the problem has came back.

Best posted in the relevant section, but I'd suspect either a loose battery terminal or earth lead. Detatch, clean, smear with silicone grease, tighten up.

If the fault recurs after doing that, get the battery checked (most factors will do it for free -- it needs a "drop" test) and check out the alternator (easy to do with a simple voltmeter -- Google will find the instructions).

The buzzing noise (starter solenoid) and power steering cutting out (at least) point to a simple electrical issue.
