hi i was woundering if anyone could help i have a 2004 mk 3 active sport. when i turn on my heating it turns on my driver lights and does nothing with the heating. Is there a earth problem or dampness on the cable.

Sounds like a bad earth somewhere, so I suggest checking all your earths you can also remove the center console and check all wiring behind there.

Yes the earthing cable for the Heater has failed - probably melted tbh
As a result the power looks for another way to get back to the battery - which is via the side lights - a pain i know

If briding the Earthing wire didnt work - im outta clues

There must be an earthing point somewhere thats failed
