i need help fitting it ive got instructions but there crap! will i need to drill holes 2 power the amp and is it easy

help wud b appriciated loads :)

they were given to me for xmas from my bird and felt too rude sayin where the **** do i put these? ill sell them if i cant put them any where

You could have a go at making yourself some custom door builds to fit them in. MDF, fibreglass and vinyl/acoustic carpet. It'd be a b***h of a job, but could look very good (y)

bird got them for me felt rude sayin where the **** do i put them. shud i run the wires on the left or right side my batt is on the left. is there nething i need to be careful of or do or avoid?

come on u guys 40 ppl have looked at my post but no1 is helping me i need to hear my sub plz help me i just need rough guide for punto instalation on how to wire the amp r there ne holes i can use or will i have to drill how shud i get 2 my batt

If you cant see any holes where the power wire can go through, then drill one! Put a grommet on, then thread the wire through.

Run your power cables down the left, speakers cables down the right, and rca and remote cables down the middle.

I wouldnt bother with the 6x9s up front, it could sound odd

make sure u ave easy access to the back of u stereo first.ull need a perminate live running from u battery(make sure it has a fuse between it), and another from the wiring loom from the back of u stereo which is a switch live running to your amp and connect them to your amp this is so the amp turns off wen your ignitions is off).then ull need to earth the amp,use a small bit a wire and runng it to a bolt in your boot make sure its car.run your audio leads from the pre amp on the back of your stereo to your amp then put the speaker cable from your amp to your sub then u sorted!!!!! (y)

Chris...a mate of mine is running some 6 x 9's in the front in some door builds (in a Citroen AX mind) But they sound great...like a set of components really!

all sorted now!! sounds great ive built a surround for my front doors now and mounted them (took a whole weekend) had troubles finding the screw holes when i put it back on and nearly dropped it speaker down as well!

so have you fittded the sub and amp now aswell?

if not:

to run you power wire from the battery there is a rubber cap on the right hand side for easy acess to get you power wire through (if i remmeber right there is like some material black stuff there u just need to pull this away slightly to see the rubber cap); and the wire will come in just under your glove box, then run it down the right hand side of your car!

as for the earth wire, unbolt 1 of your seat belt harness things put a wash inbetween the harness bolt and earthwire connecting end and bolt back down!

Then uve just got to rune your rca's and remote wire down the left hand side of your car; you just got take the side plastic bits up then run down the side. Then i put mine over the top of me steering coloum n down in the back of me headunit! as there is plenty of space n easy acess when ya get under the steering wheel!

Sorri if i ent tht good at describing some of the process?! if you need an other help ill try n explain!

thats exactly how i did it my old man helped me he found the hole under the dash and his the wires not its just a case of making the boot look gd (neons, hide wires etc)

sounds really good but now my boot is vibrating like **** if i turn it rite up u hear zzzzzzzzzz cumin from the boot plastics any idead how i can stop these someone sed put blu-tak behind the registration plate for one but theres still more noise

i found that it was, the plastic interior pannel on the inside of the boot that rattled?! So i took it off.. and it stop the viberating/rattling noise, but in the cold could get a bit of extra condensation on ur back window!

Or

You could take the pannel off and put some sound deadening down! Ive used brown bread roll before and found it real good!

* Note - it could also be your spare wheel n bits rattling aswell?!

off to the bakers i go then! ill av a butchers and the pannel and spare wheel see what i can do hopefully this will sort it!
