Hi, I have a fiat panda, early 2011, never had a real problem until this year, then a bulb went in the heater control, through this forum I discovered how to change it (haven't done it yet) but since then it seems my little car is starting to fall apart.
My indicator seems to be on the way out, its blinking extra fast (ok I can do that, a fuse, I recon,) but I also noticed that when was wipers are on, the back wiper also goes on automatically, permanently, and today I was informed that when someone was driving behind me every time I break my reverse lights are going on, can someone enlighten me to what is happening my little car. Thanks

I think the indicator blinking fast is a sign one of the bulbs needs replaced?

But with those other issues possibly taking it to Fiat for diagnostics might be the only way.

Doubt a typical mechanic could figure out electrical problems, but still give it a go if your looking to save.

Hope your Panda is fixed soon

this is a classic symptom of a bad earth finding where is a case of cleaning all earthing points or running seperate earth wire to lights ect

Agree with Rick.
First glance, this looks like a bad earth. It is easy to check before going further and looking at more complicated possibilities.I have had similar probs in the past connected to one of the rear light clusters. Get someone to walk around the car while the indicators are operating, not forgetting the side repeaters, which can get water in them.

Each bulb can get corrosion, so it's worth removing it, cleaning the contacts, spraying with electrical contact spray and testing it again.

I'd say that you've got two problems. The first being the connector to the passenger side rear light assembly. I had a little bit of lights playing up but once the connector was cleaned up all was fine. The second fault is probably an indicator bulb gone. Check that they all are lighting front, rear and side.

Hi Ollie,:)
the above posts have basically all covered it, (y)

corroded rear lamp connections can be a real pain..,

IF you've lost the connection to a rear indicator..that can make it flicker FAST..however it'll only be on the one side LEFT OR RIGHT, not both.

but the "disco-lights" does point to a poor connection / earth

do the light unit connectors 1st.., ;) worth checking anyway.
beware the changing of different wattage bulbs though.. IF you've not got a manual telling you what the panda had from the factory..you can download one on here..(y)
