Help with hgt gearbox

hi to everyone here

just joined, i drive a bravo hgt on a 97 plate with a few mods, final drive on gearbox has become very noisy, new gearboxes where i live seem to be non existant so if anyone can help it would be cool

When I blew the gearbox on my Marea I sourced another through the parts gateway. Little more expensive than just getting one from the local scrappies but they deliver and the service was good.

while i am at it i am going to replace the clutch, does anyone know who makes a performance one as i am upping the power soon ???

I wouldnt bother. as far as im aware these boxes cant handle much more power and an uprated clutch puts strain on the system.

As far as sourcing a box, it took me 2 months to get a new box for my stilo when it blew 2nd to pieces and even then it was a punto HGT box so i could only use its internals which meant stripping both boxes to make one good one.
