Help with Focal Tweeters

Ive got a set of focal polyglass tweeters and they are currently in the 'flush mount' adapters, however i want to put them in the surface mount adapters but cant seem to get the tweeter assembly out of the flush mount adapters, anyone know how they come out because i dont want to break them and i do not have a users manual with them

IIRC there was a little plastic peice that that came with them that just sits over the front of the tweeter and fits it on each side, so you can twist the tweeter out. Do you have anything you can get a grip with? maybe get a grip on the mesh grille of the tweeter with something spikey and twist it out like that?

my key is metal but they might have changed it to plastic on the later models

they twist bud.. anti-clickwise about 5mm.. u can use ur fingers nails in the grill...

some1 might have glued them in tho.. being a mupty.. cos if u don't read the user guide.. they don't stay in the holders
