Forgive me, I am new. Here goes...
I have a 91 DGT. Alternator gave up a few weeks ago, so I had it replaced. Now the battery light glows dimly constantly, and the electronic display fades for a bit, then is fine again. I did a voltage meter reading on the battery and it's showing 14v. Did the same to new alternator and it is also showing 14v. Had the battery tested and there is nothing wrong with it. Can't for the life of me work out what's wrong and can't seem to find any one that can without holding me to ransom. Any ideas?

It sounds like you have some bad earths check the ones on the chassis leg at the front of the car under the battery/air box, take them of rub tham with some wet and dry and put them back on, also under the dash on the wing section are 2 internal earths unlikely they will be rusty. Also on the rear valance under the carpet there is an earth for the rear lights. Check the earth body to engine.
