Technical Help with battery in the U.S. please.

Our 69 500F is being delivered on Monday, and when I talked to the delivery company today they said the car’s battery is dead. Well, instead of charging it, I just want to buy new. Does anyone have the case size? Or know of which battery will fit in the car? I want to pick one up before the car gets here. Thanks in advance.

The original fitment had case dimensions (LxWxH) of 210x135x200mm (approx. 8,1/4" x 5,1/2" x 8") and capacity was 45 Amp/hr.

Ok. Just a heads up. On our car the battery terminals were on the opposite side. So the 51R did not work. We had to use the the 51 battery.

On my 500 (and I expect most others) the terminals are at the BACK of the battery, with the positive on the RIGHT -HAND side--looking FROM the front (so, driver's side in the USA and passenger side, UK)
