Help - Wire hanging out bottom of engine

I hope someone here can offer a little help. I have a 2001 Fiat Brava 1.2 and yesterday I noticed that a wire was hanging out the bottom of the engine and trailing along the ground. I have looked underneath the car and all around the engine, but I can't see where to plug it back in.

The wire is coming out of what looks like a junction box just in front of the battery. The box is black and has 6 symbols on the top of it including one for ABS and headlight washers (neither of which the car has). There are a number of wires coming out of the box. One is plugged into the radiator fan, a couple are plugged into the headlights and most of the other wires are heading towards the back of the engine. The wire that is trailing along the ground is the longest wire coming out of the box and is covered in ribbed yellow plastic and has an electrical connector on the end. The wires inside the yellow plastic appear to be orange and black. Does anybody know what this wire is for ad where it plugs into?

I've been puzzling over this since 5pm last night. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Wire

I should add that the car seems to be driving no problem and all electrical items are functioning correctly.

Re: Wire

Probably a cable pre-installed for an item only fitted on more up-spec versions. Just tie it up out of the way, if all seems OK.

Re: Wire

I'm thinking that its probably the cable for the front fog lights.
as pete says, just tied it back to somewhere its not gonna be in the way.

Re: Wire

If it is located at the front of the engine on the passenger side its the fog light wire as danny said

:) Bravo my son Bravo!! :)

Wire

Thanks for your help guys, I've now got it tied up out of the way. I've just had it out on a 20 mile drive and everything's 100%.

Cheers :)

Re: Wire

I also have this yellow wire, and i also have some fogs i wanna connect (yes still!) does anyone know the part number of the so called wire that i can use to connect this "yellow cable" to two front fogs?
i still also need to know how i can get the lights to activate after doing this, as the HGT switch panel i have does not suite the wiring behind my existing JTD switch panel
thanks

Re: Wire

it would be a really tough job mate :(
tbh your best bet would be to get a fog light switch and wiring kit from hellfrauds etc and wire it to a button mounted somewhere. sorry to be tthe bearer of bad news :(
