I hope someone here can offer a little help. I have a 2001 Fiat Brava 1.2 and yesterday I noticed that a wire was hanging out the bottom of the engine and trailing along the ground. I have looked underneath the car and all around the engine, but I can't see where to plug it back in.
The wire is coming out of what looks like a junction box just in front of the battery. The box is black and has 6 symbols on the top of it including one for ABS and headlight washers (neither of which the car has). There are a number of wires coming out of the box. One is plugged into the radiator fan, a couple are plugged into the headlights and most of the other wires are heading towards the back of the engine. The wire that is trailing along the ground is the longest wire coming out of the box and is covered in ribbed yellow plastic and has an electrical connector on the end. The wires inside the yellow plastic appear to be orange and black. Does anybody know what this wire is for ad where it plugs into?
I've been puzzling over this since 5pm last night. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
