I've fitted a CD player in my Bravo, all well and good, only problem i've found is that i lose stations and the time when programmed.. I think it's to do with the yellow and red wires at the back???

Secondly, I was having a problem yesterday setting up my amp, how did you run the wire from the battery to the amp in the boot. Couldnt feed it up behind the glove box???? Any pointers????

This is a simlar problem I had when fitting my CD player, mine was related to the BS fixture that came with CD player, the BS fixture is the plastic box with all the terminated wires in.

What I foud was the wiring on the car was incorrect to the CD loom, therefore I identified the live feed from the car and swapped it over to the memory lead on the CD loom (orange wire).

When I take my fascia of the CD player I have a red flasshing LED this indicates that the wiring is correct and that all of the preset stations will be saved once programmed.

This is a very easy job, just ensure you have a few spare fuses for both the car and CD unit....

Hope this helps..

HELPPPPPPPPPPPP

I have a sony CD player in my car. At the back there is a numerous amount of wires (expected) There are two between the two blocks you have a red wire and a yellow.. Red connected to Red and Yellow to Yellow. In between the yellow there is a connection which allows you to indert another wire. Can i connect the redwqire to the yellow, If so will this stop my memory being lost when the ignition cuts out.
