Help re Rear Wiper

My daughters' 1996 1.6 Brava SX has started having electrical problems.
Main one is the rear wiper doesn't work. The other one is the heated rear screen will not switch off.

I recall being told that the rear wiper motors are prone to fail. Has anyone got a working motor they'd be willing to part with?
If so let me know how much you want for it.

I reckon the rear screens' switch is kaput, so the same question. If anyone has a working switch that will fit a 96 Brava please get in touch. I'll see you right for it.

Apart from those little hassles my old Brava is still going strong. Passed its MOT without needing any work doing at all.
Just as well as my daughter's local garage is expensive so every time she visits I get to check over my old Brava. It's still a damn good drive too!

Hope all is well with BOO. I must say I sort of miss you people.

Anyway, hope someone can help out. I could collect if you're not too far away, cause the Brava will be here over the Bank Holiday.

Stuart, you can take the switch apart and check if its just a stuck switch. Take off the small plastic lids left and right of the switch line, take out the screws under the lids.
Now just pull out the switch line, above and under the buttons there are U shaped plastic retainers, lift them up and the switch front is loose to take off. Then check if the switch is stuck, if so press it out and extend the spring in the switch a bit by hand before putting back together.

Other thing that can be is a stuck relay, the heater relay should be right of the steering wheel. Put a multimeter on the rear heater wires and pull one relay after another out, when the voltage drops to 0 you found it, now use some other relay and check if its stuck.
