Help! Radio Code

I have a Fiat Brava P Reg with a radio model AD 182 H.

I bought the car from Auto Italia in Kingston two years ago and the radio code was never in the Fiat pack which contained everything else - warranty etc. The battery needed replacing some months ago and I'm at the stage where I can't stand my own singing any longer.

Please tell me what I should do - some sites say I need the serial number - how do I get it out? Are there any standard codes I could try to get it working etc - any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.

I going on hols tomorrow and wanted to get it done by then but think it's looking doubtful.

Sorry, but i dont think anyone can help you, your only option is to take a visit to Fiat, they will of course charge you. When i had mine done on my VW Golf it cost me £40.

personally this would be the perfect excuse to buy a CD headunit.

They are quite cheap now.I got my sony MP40 for £120 including delivery from www.newimagecarhifi.com (or.co.uk)

if its the standard radio, contact the dealer who sold the car from new.
you'll be expected to provide some proof of ownership.
the dealer charged me £10

it cost me £15 & 24 hours from my local Fiat dealer. i did try calling the previous owner in the log book but he couldnt help.
