Help Please

Hey,

I know you guys are real good at helpin out peeps with problems.
Well when i went to buy my car i phoned my insurance and they told me that it would be just over £1600 a year even though i had an accident back in February, so i thought well thats a bloody good deal i will take that. So i bought my stilo and then Yesterday came the quote through the post. It was now £3110 a year.....As you can imagine i pretty much just stopped breathing!
I contacted my insurance and told them what had happend, they said they would listen to the quote as it had been recorded and phone us back, They phoned back and said yes we are right their employee that i spoke to did say it would be £1600 a year but they cant do anything about that and i will have to pay £3110 a year.....So as you can imagine im kinda crappin myself as my insurance runs out on September 12th 2006!

Help guys, i really dont want to get rid of the Stilo but i dont want to be paying any more than 1750! Any ideas?

all you can do is phone around but with a quote like that i dont know if oyu will get it down £1300+

Phone them back and tell them thats the price you were quoted, they have it recorded and confirmed this to you, stick to your guns, that happened to my mate, they quoted him £200 a year for his clio and when he phoned back to pay it they said £900, he told them where to go and they gave in and he paid the £200.

Dont give up, if they've done it once they'll do it again!

if you've been quoted 1600quid and they have admitted it, then thats all you have to pay.
