Just shop about, try online and over the phone, comparison sites and direct insurers such as Direct Line and Aviva (y)

It's not so much your age but the fact you're a new driver that will be the reason for the high quotes. We'd need at least 12 months NCB before we can grant you access to the club scheme.

I spoke to a new driver the other day who had a similar issue. Ended up f=going for one of the black box schemes

yeah i was looking at black boxes the only thing that puts me off is you have to basicly drive like a white nuckle driver lol like you do on your test

I had a black box with ingenie for my 100hp panda and they restrict you a lot. Then I changed to "marmalade" with a black box and would highly recommend it

but all blackbox insurance seems to be more than £4000 a year that does not make sense as i thought it was ment to be cheaper lol :bang:

Hi try my policy as the Daughter was 17 and she manage to insure a 1.2 gp on a 56 reg for a few pound short of £2000 that was with a black box others was wanting be tween £4 to £6000 she even got it down to below £1500 but that was for 3000 miles a year but I told her she needed at least 7000 so that took it up to as said just short of £2000 good look

Hi,
Please feel free to give us a try for insurance if you like. If you wanted to PM me some contact details I'd be happy to arrange for one of my quotes team to give you a call back.
Regards,
Dan.
