Strada Help please she keeps going full throttle

Hi I'm new here I have a 2001 Strada pick up. I cannot for the life of me find any info on my truck. It's a 1.2 diesel with all electric injector pump. The shut off/ run solenoid was dead so I replaced it. Now at least it starts but only runs full throttle. I've checked the peddal and the resistance does change when pushed but when I check at what I believe to be the accelerator solinoid, because it has six wires as well there is no voltage change. I'm at a total loss because I live on a small island with no Fiat dealer

If you have no voltage change at the accelerator pedal, you at least know there's a problem there.

Without knowing what signals and fault codes are present you'll never know where to start the diagnosis. Get an OBD cable and registered version of www.multiecuscan.net.

Thanks davemct. Where can I find the scan port(obd2) I've looked online but it is not in the fuse box, under the hood, behind glove box. I'm at a total loss any help would be appreciated
