Technical HELP PLEASE! Full beam stuck on..... Grande Punto

Howdo

Went to go out on a short journey before and used my full beam,
Now it won't turn off!!!
I have tried turning the car off/on with the switch in various positions and it still stay's on.
The light's flicker a little bit when the full beam is set to on, but I don't seem to be able to just get dipped beam.
Any advice (other than "Take it to a garage") would be helpful.

Put the switch back to it's normal position, lights off, not pulled back for full beam. Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery and leave it for 10 mins to reset the ECU, I have no idea if it'll work but it's worth a try. Worst case scenario is it doesn't help and you have to reset your clock.
