I'm having a nightmare trying to get hold of this code. My CD player doesn't work properly so i bought another stereo from ebay which came with the code. Unfortunately only the radio worked on this one and there is a CD jammed in the player and won't work so it's going straight back! But i now can't use mine because i don't have a code. Although it doesn't say Blaupunkt on the front, this is the same stereo as the Blaupunkt.

It's a shame you're not around the Bradford area, take your pick of the shops that'd unlock it for ya. I'm sure Davren knows it'll be a Philips unit by the FA number you put up.
Just for future ref for ya, if you use the @ symbol followed immediately by the name, ie, davren, he will be notified of your message. You'll pick it up in time.

If you reckon it's a Blaupunkt radio, you could try 1664.

I'm going to have buy another 2nd hand one but until that arrives i'll have no music

Then i'll be back requesting a code for that one! It's like a vicious circle, so fed up now.

I have had another look at the label attached to my stereo and this is how it looks. I would upload the picture but i don't know how to add it to the forum.

So it turns out it's a Grundig and not a Blaupunkt but cosmetically they are identical.

Seem's it's not your day ...... Grundig radios can only be decoded by reading the contents of an EPROM inside the radio. This can only be done by someone with the correct electronic equipment.
