General HELP PART NEEDED

I posted before about an oil leak as my car is now in the garage recovered after total oil loss on monday ,garage have advised that the part I require a crankshaft seal is on back order with the manufacturer up to 8 weeks !
Bought my 72 plate fiat 5oo hybrid from Motorpoint 7 weeks ago they won't help nor will warranty provider...no car for a long time unless I can locate the part ....help please I'm 78 live alone really need my car back on the road !!'

That is terrible at the age of vehicle, you could probably get parts for a Fiat 10 times that age quicker!
Any chance of getting a full refund of your purchase through legal means, Sale of Goods Act, etc. as what was sold to you is not fit for purpose.
Warranty by third party insurance is usually bad value, it is just a way of car salesmen escaping liability.
Are you in RAC or AA, they have a legal department that may be able to fight on your behalf.
There is no guarantee that Fiat will supply the part in 8 weeks anyway!
Apart from anything else, if the engine dumped all it's oil then it may have caused other damage.
