I have been thinking about debadging my mk2b... but realised that there will be a indent in the boot from where the badge was... I was wondering if anyone could tell me what they did to get rid of this and how they did it
no need for smoothing if its a mk2/b as there is no indent its only the front of a mk2 that has an indentA bodyshop will smooth it out for you, or, I think a normal mk2 boot fits, and they dont have a badge on the boot, but im not sure about this.

nope not under any of the badges the punto lettering, fiat lettering or the badge
EDIT :get a pic of ur car to make sure im talking about a mk2
actually is it like mine
His should be the same as yours, as there isnt a badge on the back of the mk2, just the fiat logo and the punto lettering at the bottom.
its not i have exactly the same car and i have removed mine and have not got a recess or indent its just stuck on with a bit of glueIt is a mk2b (mk3) so has a big circular fiat badge in the middle... and that is indented into the boot!!! it is a '54 reg mk2b!

To my knowledge....
Mk2 has no indent on rear at all in terms of behind badges
Mk2b has indent behind the cental FIAT round logo
