I just bought 17" alloys for my punto Mk2 but they came of the new mini one. The offset and bore are the same measurements and i bought wobley bolts to convert the pcd to 100 mm but there is a small gap between the hub and thew actual wheel. Now i dont know whether i havent tightened the wheel enough (but i dont want to damage the thread) or whether there is agap and i need spacers but is it safe to have spacers and wobley bolts. I need help anyone???? :bang:

You want to convert FROM 100 pcd and TO 98. Right? The hub centering may differ a bit, hence you won´t get the wheel fully on. The surfaces SHOULD contact to ensure stability and safety.

Thanks for that info but there is about a 3 mm gap between the wheel and the hub if i put a 3 mm spacer will that be ok for putting the wheels on. if any one knows or has done this already could you reply please. cheers!!!

This might sound a silly question but have you taken the wheel locating spigots off the hub?

Fiats come with locating spigots that fit into holes on the steel wheels. The thing is there isnt these holes on aftermarket alloys. Take the spigots out (look like little cones!)
