Help Noise left front wheel

Hi got chuffing or grinding sound coming from the left front wheel,this is only heard when moving. I thought it was the brake pads which needed changing which I did today, but this did not solve problem. Any ideas to narrow search down.

could be the dust cover scraping on the disc. or it may be the bearing, /cv joint

Jack the car up and see if there's any 'play' in the wheel...

If so, more than likely a wheel bearing has gone/on it's way out.

Also, if it's up in the air, spin the wheel round, and see if it makes the noise then. So should be able to pin point it then.

sounds like the cv joint to me mate thats what happened when mine went

4rt about bearing,Cv joint. But not dust shield. I will give these a good look over 2mo.
