HELP NEEDED

i own a '97 hgt, today i started getting a loud "humming" typr noise comning from the front end of my car. sound is a bit intermitent and continues when i press the clutch down but stops when i break.
reckon it may be the wheel bearings... anyone any ideas?? how much are new bearings..?
i need to go london at the weekend (about 300 mile rd trip) is that a bad idea

It could be the wheel bearings, does the noise get louder the faster you drive?

If it is don't worry their pretty cheap at around £35. corner and proberbly an hours labour to fit at a garage.

Make sure all your wheel nuts are on tightly aswell. Have you or a garage had the wheels off recently?
