Technical help needed please

Hi all,

I have a 1998 cinquecento sporting that isnt starting i ran out of petrol like a wel you know changed the fuel filter and now wont start do you have to prime the fuel system after running of petrol and if so how? or if u think it could be anything else please comment the engine is turning over fine it sounds like it wants to start but just isnt sorry about explanation im not an expert at these things Thanks

fuel will prime itself as the pump is a constant run when started. just turn the key on wait for the pump to click off. and repeat. but once should do it t.b.h

if its not starting you need to see if its getting fuel.

if you have a little left in a can take the air filter off and pour a thimble full down its throat

if its just fuel starved it should fire and run for a sec or two.
