Technical Help needed kind of urgent - lambda sensor live feed

Hi guys,

I hope this is an easy one, as it is driving me crazy. My Uno (1.0 ie) has failed the emissions test and went to have a look at the lambda sensor. This sensor has three wires: the signal itself that goes to the ECU and another pair of wires feeding the +12V and the ground for the heating element. I've found out that there's no 12V getting to the connector!

Does anybody know where the fuse is that feeds the lambda sensor? I've looked everywhere and for the love of God couldn't find it.

Just investigating Lambda problems my self and found this on the forum https://www.fiatforum.com/punto-ii/283445-mk2-1-2-8v-2003-ecu-wiring-diagrams-wanted-urgently.html - one of the posts includes the wiring pdf for the ecu.

Looks like the lambda heaters come off fuse f11 - though which board that's on I don't know as there are several dotted about the car - under the bonnet and down to the right of the steering wheel. Just going to look myself..

In the mean time I did find the fuse (actually a couple of days later only) and it is as you said. I've found out it only works with the engine is running as it is connected to the relay that also feeds the fuel pump - hence the negative reading on the heating element.

The car is now in the garage for the MOT. I suspect it will take a new cat
