I have a TPS p0120 problem. TB swapped and problem still exists. Fast idle. ECU about to be changed but I suspect wiring on the left hand (from rear) multi way ECU connector. Moving connector affects idle sometimes. Fault was intermittent but now seems continuous. Does anyone have ECU/sensor wiring diagrams? I have looked averywhere and cannot find them so any help would be greatly appreciated. ECU info and diagnostic report attached. Peter

Thanks but these don't include the ECU system. Anyone have the ECU system diagrams?

I bought a new ECU but lo and behold the same fault is present, so must be wiring between TPS on TB and ECU multiway connector.

I can't be the first to have problems here, anyone help?

Try

1. Visually inspecting the individual wires on the harness

2. Clean the pins as best you can, smear with silicone grease (not silicone sealant!) and plug and unplug a few times.

AFAIK, no schematic of the internal wiring of the ECUs is available. Assuming that this is the horrible nasty micro ECU that Mk2 8v Puntos were cursed with, the external wiring should be exactly thhe same as that givven for the MPI Sei in the Seicento Technical Manual, in the Downloads Library on this very forum. Section Four, Engine Command.pdf.
