Help needed - Installing a Goodmans stereo into a Bravo

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone can help me. I recently bought a Goodmans car stereo from ebay. I have the stereo fitted in and the CD function and MP3 input both work fine. The problem i have is that the radio aerial connection in the bravo does not match that on the stereo. As you know im sure, the bravo's aerial is like a plug that connects into a stereo's socket, so to speak. With the Goodmans stereo, there is no socket, only what looks like another plug....
Does anyone know is there an adaptor available that can connect both "plugs" or do i need to take more drastic measures..or even worse, pay some one to install it!!!

Yes, you can get a simple adapter from most car audio stores. Should only be a few quid

halfords seel them, only about a quid, explain the problem and even one of the muppets there should be able to give you the right bit!

also, halfords seem to be giving free england flags with a purchase, obviously can't sell them, sepecially as everyone has about 20 on their car already!

I wasn't going to take one but when they charged me £13 for a numberplate i was getting every penny out of them! Even if i did give the flag away :/

I live in Dublin, we didnt qualify, so i doubt there will be any free flags for me!

You could be really cheeky and tell them...

"My girlfriend/ wife bought be a sony (must be sony) cd player, i'm 1/2 way through fitting it but i need the aierl* adartor. the Sony instructions say there should be 1 in the packet with the ISO block, but there wasn't! Do you have to put them in, or do we have to request which type we have when we buy the radio?? as it was my girlfriend/ wife they wouldn't have known this."


try summit like that, and they should give u 1... prob go pinch 1 outta another sony box... I kno i use too

Heh, dont go to maplins in dublin anyway. the fools will just stand there as if you had two heads. Any good motor factor should have the adaptors (commonly used on blaupunkt gear)
