HELP!! Need Advice

I have a fiat bravo 1.6 SX and last night turned the ignition on only to find that REV counter, Speedometer, Fual Gauge, Temp Gauge and electronic mileage display was not working.

Has anyone had this happen to them and what did they do? Also any idea of cost?

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Does the car start mate? Usually happens when the voltage is lost due to a duff battery.

HELP - Need advice

Hi mate,

The car starts fine and i drove it about 100 miles with no probs. Just didn't know how fast i was going or how much fuel i had left!!

check the fuse, fusebox to right of steering wheel, its the only 15amp fuse in there (light or clear blue)

then if it is that and it goes again get it looked at

It dosent have to be a fuse, this happenned to me a bit back, all of the fuses were checked by an auto electrician first, then fiat, they were all fine, had a plug in at fiat done and they couldnt find what was wrong but it started working again while they were at it, the next day it went again so i took it back and they fitted a whole new console for me, i had it done under warranty so dont know how much this is!

Take your clocks out VERY CAREFULLY and check the connections.

Failing that or a fuse, you're shafted unless you've got a waranty as the clocks are about £180+vat.
