help me please

hey lads need some help if possible. my car has bin in need of repair for a whole year and still cant fix the problem. The car starts perfect from cold but when i stop say at a petrol station then go to start it again the car floods and wont start. when it eventually does the revs go erratic and jump then fall repeatedly then after a minute the car runs fine. any ideas on what this may be cheers in advance.

You describe exactly the same symptoms my sister's Seciento had. It was so annoying. I can remember the car starting easily when the car cooled down

I'm not a mechanic, but my sisters mechanic said it had something to with the ECU as it was getting too hot.

I'm very sorry, but I can't remember what the 'something' was but it was definitely caused by heat near the 'electronics'.

What the ECU temp goes, it can happen and its common on stilo Abarth.
Did you get a diag done ? and is the temperature ok when you turn the key to MAR ?

yeah the temp is fine. i had a diag done and a code came up of 055 i think plus engine speed sinal came up on display. cheers for any info fellas
