Hello everyone, I am new here and I can but say, its a big previlege and honour being part of the great forum and helpful forum members whose contribution has helped me immensely to being a great DIY, thank you all.
My car-Punto selecta 60 M reg failed MOT on faulty break hoses and I decided to do it myself as its quite easy to. I encountered problem when I wanted to disconnect the hose from the brake pipe as its rusty and I tried everything that was suggested to me but no luck :bang:, in the process of trying too hard, I twisted the pipe and pipe bolt has been smooth all round but the twist wasnt to bad, just the silver paint on the pipe comes off and still couldnt get the brake pipe out of the hose. Please, can someone advice me as I am thinking of getting of the pipes and hoses and just get the complete pipes as I have got the hoses for the driver and passanger sides or is there any method I have not tried to rid of the rusted hoses. Your suggestion will be higly appreciated.
Thank you all in advance.
Another thing again please, I have tried to buy from ePER but I couldnt as it keeps OOPS! AN ERROR HAS OCCURED. Sorry me hearties, there be pirates in these waters and they've scuppered me vessel.
Best try again in a few minutes. In the meantime, flog ye olde cabin boy and have some more rum.
Error Code: 503
NB: In case you dont understand the pipe I am talking about, this is the parts number on ePER 46475590 and 46553813
