Okay, baby, this is want you want.

Money. Lots of it. I'm sure the others will tell you what to buy.

AND you're definitely not thick :)

*sigh*

Right, your proberbly going to want to start with a replacement headunit (around £150.)
Next you'll proberbly want to replace the factory fit speakers in the front as they distort when you turn them up right (allow about £60).
Following that a simple sub, amp and wiring kit will give you the bass you desire for around £200.
It depends on exactly what your after. Do you just want to be heard, or do you also want to go for some good quality gear to show off.
Give us a budget and i'm sure we can come up with something.

rite...i not fussy bout how much it costs...but as least as possible ;) ive got a new Sony CD player in it and some Kenwood speakers in the parcel shelf ...but i still have the s**tty original ones in the front...these are fitted into the dash...where the hell do i get ones that are gonna fit in that??? So do i need the amp to power the sub then?? im new to this and dont understand how it all works ;)

Right, first of all, yes you can easily replace the speakers in the front dash, their are plently of cos that make speakers in that size (10cm i believe).
Which model of Sony headunit do you have?
Do you know if it has any pre-outs? Don't worry if you don't know, if you can find out the model no. i can find out for you.
Pre-outs make it much easier to connect an amplifier, and yes you will need one to run a sub.
You say you've got speakers in the rear shelf do you know what size they are? and how powerful they are?
It might be worth you getting a 4-channel amp. Channels 1+2 could run a set of front speakers and channels 3+4 bridged could power a sub. I'll do a bit of searching a come up with a possible system.
Sorry for all the questions:)

Ok, heres a system using some good quality gear for £300. I got my prices from www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/shop/

Speakers, Pioneer TSE-1075, £43.99
http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/shop/acatalog/tse1075.jpg

2-channel Amplifier, Rockford Fosgate, £89.99 (special offer, while stocks last)

Sub, Rockford Fosgate, £94.99

Then add £40 for a wiring kit and £40 for a sub box and you've got a system. Fitting is easy:)

im back again with my ICE query....the money seems to be coming near now so are the speakers included in Si's post gonna fit my babysei?

The unforgettable one......

Right..this may sound like a really thick thing to ask but im just about to order the above speakers that Si recommended for the front of the sei.....but ive just taken mine out to have a look and there is this yellow connector that goes from the speaker to the wiring in the car...will this be on the speaker I order or will i have to connect sommat onto the new speakers etc....im soooooo thick and confused ;)

Is it a car.....Is it a Plain....No its B A B Y S E I

no baby the plastic bit comes off and you'll connect the two spade connecters (that are in the plastic bit just now) directly to the new speakers not difficult have afiddle with the plastic bit and see if you can get it apart (can't remeber exactly how it does) if you can't get apart - it just break it :D

oh and by the way which one will i have to fiddle with..the yellow bit connected to the car or the yellow bit attatched to the current speaker.... sorry..;)

The yellow bit attached to the car luv, it will split open and you use the connectors within for your new speakers.
