Hi guys,

I got my punto mk 2 serviced and i have been told that:

1. My O/S/R drum is seized on? I was told that if that by taking the drum off could also damage the shoes.

What does this problem mean?? My braking seems unaffected apart from occasional grinding noise.

Silly question but does 'off side' mean the drivers side?

How much would it cost me to get it fixed?

2. O/S/F wiper jet spraying out incorrectly. It just sprays out little a bit of water about 10cm high that is all.. How do I fix it?

the best way to remember which side is o/s or n/s is near to curb is n/s and away is o/s

as for the positioning of the jets, use a needle!

Basically they are saying that the brake shoes have not been checked because the drum is stuck on.
Best to guage by the n/s shoes, and when replacement required get the drum off. If it gets damaged, then replace both, they're not too expensive.
Probably about £80 incuding the shoes... - thats a guess.
