Hi Guys

Desperate for help as I don't really want to take my Bravo to another extortionate Fiat dealer to get something which is possibly trivial fixed.

On my way to Donnington Park, my car went over a bump then cut out. The engine wouldn't start after that and the spark plug warning light went on.

Phoned the AA, they had tow me home after pointing out that there was no electricity flowing through the engine relay cable. My cars still stuck on my driveway after taking it to 2 local dealerships!

Read a psot 2day pointing out that there is a fuel cut off switch under the passenger seat. Funnily enough, I looked at this after work and the switch was up. Pushed it down but the car still won't turnover. Anything else I should be doing?

Cheers

H

PS Sorry my English isn't very good - I'm welsh

How hard did you try to start it? Later cars (>99 I think) don't have self priming fuel systems so it might take some cranking.

One thing to try is disconnect the battery, leave it for an hour or so and try again. Mine would not start once and doing that fixed it.

Welsh be damned!

Where bouts m8y, I'm from Bridgend.

Try the battery Idea...

Re: Welsh be damned!

hello,

check the inertia supply switch under the passenger front seat. Probably it cut off the fuel supply.

Re: Re: Welsh be damned!

Is the same as the fuel cut off switch? I pressed this back in & it still wouldn't start

box

Have a look at the fuse box in the engine bay, should be covered by a black cover, take it off and check to see if the fuse has gone, if it has your car wont start as its the fuse for the injectors and iginiton.

Re: Re: box

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isnt the fuel cut off switch supposed to be up? You push it down to cut off fuel to the engine
