The heating airflow on our recently purchased 2008 Fiat Grande is very poor. Warm air comes out of the windscreen, face and feet vents, but its only just about blowing out even on speed setting 4
. The engine is at temperature and the fan works on all 4 settings. I've uncovered the air intake in the engine bay and there is no obstructions. I've also removed the fan and that is clean and works fine at all speeds the temp resistor is ok. I've renewed the air filter between the fan and the rest of the heating system. I think the heater matrix is working ok, both in and out pipes are hot! The flaps and dash dials all seem to work ok and the various cogs move the heater flaps. I'm at a loss as to why the air flow at the heating vents is so poor
. Maybe I'm expecting too much! What is your perience of this? Am I missing something here? Your advice and experience would be most welcome, especially as winter is almost here; it is taking ages to de-mist
