Help Heater Problem, Well cooler problem

Right I have noticed today that my HGT is blowing warm air through the vents even when the heater is set to Lo(w). Now the temperature of the engine seems to fine with the needle only going to half way but to be honest, that is a little high for my car. My needle is usually one line.

On first start, the heater seem to work as normal, goes to the temp set and blows on full if set to Auto and Lo(w). When the temperature of the car get to normal then this changes. The heat coming out of the heaters is warm going on hot and the blowers slow down on auto to say if the temperature was set to 24 or 26.

Could any one shed any light on it?

big problem is that I'm the sort of person to av the windows down with a t-shirt on even if it was snowing, so with the weather getting warmer (hopefully ) then I'm really gone be sweaty

forgot to say, the temperature in the car doesn't alter that much with the climate (air con) on or off.

Mine does this occasionally but usually a tap of the console near the heater controls sorts it. Must be a loose connection in there somewhere. I'll sort it properly one day.

Funny you should say that Al,

my temperature guage was almost at normal and the heaters were working perfectly, cold air on the Lo setting and blowing a lot on the Auto like they are supose too.

First thing i thought was loose connection then my mind starting things engine related and knowing my luck, it would be expensive lol.
