Hello!, someone on here must have done this before... just fitted clear front indicators... look well smart under Abarth headlight protectors ;)

How the hell do you get the side repeaters out though? :bang: Looking at the clear replacements I've got to go in, you have to squeeze the clips behind the wing... have I *REALLY* got to take the inner wings out to get to the side repeaters?

Thought I'd ask before getting a nice sharp chisel and a soft rag with something on it to act as a flucrum to yank the old one out!!!

Hoping someone can help me... (y)

i wouldnt risk chiping your paint taking the inner plastic out of the wing isnt hard
just a few screws u dont have to take it all out just enough to get your hand in to press the clip on back of the repeater i got some blue for my brava to put in was wondering myself how to do it but the best way i found is to take the plastic out dont wanna risk damagin the paint (y) 30 min job tops for both

i aint sure if they are the same as the cinq ones but a flatheaded screw driver down the side of the repeator worked for me. basically there are 2 bits either side of it that u have to push in so that the whole thing comes out. usually u can get one side out just by fiddling with it, but the other side needs a bit more convincing.

of course i was replacin them with bigger repeators so it didnt really matter if i chipped the paint a bit.... which i didnt by the way, wrap the driver in toilet paper!

then just make sure u dont drop the wires an they slide back into the body work, cause then u got to take the wheels an the arch liner off so u can look for them!!! proper nightmare.

Yes it is lady boy!

Little screw driver is sufficient, once it pops out a light bulb comes on in your head and you know from then one how to do it.

It's an inexpensive mod which makes it look better no end, nice one.

Hmmm... you weren't wrong! Finally got around to doing the side repeaters this morning - Vitara needed my attention first! - absolute swine getting the inner arch out on the driver's side, got there in the end but seemed an awful lot of effort! So on the nearside I twisted the old amber lense with a pair of mole grips to get the lense off, removed the bulb and then with the aid of a fairly small flat screwdriver and a pair of long nose pliars slipped the old indicator housing out and replaced it with the new clear lense... a lot quicker and easier!!!

Looks good in the end though! ;)
