Hi there, I'm facing a big problem, my alternator belt has gone before two days, I went through all my country and I can't find the same belt as it was on my car In my belt is written 4 K 663, can anyone suggest is there any belt with another number that will fit in my car or should I check for this type of belt somewhere outside my country ?

look on here for the part number, http://eper.fiatforum.com/eper/navi...INT_MODE=0&EPER_CAT=SP&GUI_LANG=3&WINDOW_ID=1

then google to find in Turkiye / Eastern Europe

Assuming this is the small belt that goes between the alternator and air conditioning compressor, the Fiat part number for it is 46758804. Search for that number or 4PK663. Lots of them for sale on www.ebay.co.uk or www.ebay.it

Problem is that most sellers won't ship to Albania.

I think it's a stretchy belt, so you will need to buy or make a tool to fit it with.

I ordered this one in ebay http://www.ebay.com/itm/390973194053?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT it says lenth 663 mm but it doesen't say strechy anyway hope this will work when I will get it after two weeks I suppose.

Hope it's the correct one for your car, but the listing doesn't include either of the part numbers I posted above, and their compatibility checker says:

This part is not compatible with Fiat Stilo 192 [2001-2006] Hatchback 2.4 20V.

Hope too, that's correct there is written that doesen't fit my car but here in my country in some stores that sells fiat parts they have fiat software for checking spare parts and non of them has this type of alternator belt 4 k 663 included there is other number for this part so I think it is a limited version of this belt, anyway if the length is 663 mm than it should fit, I'll give a try.

From Dayco website.

DAYCO®ela® belts, also known as“stretch” belts, are specifically designed for 2 to 4 point drives that do not require tensioning. Although these belts may look like standard poly rib belts, they are very different. These specially designed belts have self-tensioning capabilities required by specific original equipment (OE) drives designed for a “stretch” belt. Vehicles that are manufactured with “stretch” belts must replace those belts with “stretch” belts. These belts are not interchangeable with standard constructed belts of the same size.

You are likely to break your alternator fitting a non stretch belt.

Maigretnz, Fortunately yesterday I found the original belt 4 K 663 used, but in great condition, better this one than the inappropriate one :) thanx to all of you that helped me to find a solution.

Davren, I'm also in need of an alternator belt. Eper says it's Fiat part no 46758804 which you say is a 4PK663 belt. Bosch say it's a 4PK668- and according them this is the correct part. Any ideas?

I've found about 5 different sizes that are all supposedly now OEM replacements! :bang:

Edit: to add more confusion, Shop4Parts say the part no is 46736814 which has been superseded by 71719738 which is a 4PK668, but isn't listed on ePER as the belt for the Stilo.

I am confuse.

According to my June 2014 copy of ePER:
46736814 is for the 1.2 and 1.4 engines for North European markets.
71719738 is for the 1.2 engine fitted to the Palio and Siena models for the Turkish market.

When I was checking this issue previously, I found several eBay sellers listing the 2.4 belt as various lengths between 662 and 668mm. Just a guess, but perhaps different aftermarket manufacturers measure it from different places; e.g. outside diameter or inside diameter to the peaks of the ribs or inside diameter to the bottom of the ribs. A few mm difference in length wouldn't matter for a normal adjustable belt, but I suspect a stretchy belt would need to be more accurate.

There's a genuine Fiat 46758804 belt for £5 delivered here: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FIAT-RIBB...61889c2&pid=100005&rk=4&rkt=6&sd=112007458809
