Technical help broken cable i dont know what it is??

i discovered this broken cable and dont know what its for or how to fix it, all advice much welcome

odd. is it a wire, or a cable? thats an 899 isnt it. is anything not working, ie speedo, clutch, reverse gear?

where does the cable lead to?

I suspect it's a speedo cable, so, is your speedometer working?

yup it isa speedometer cable, i snapped mine about a month ago, best to get a one piece cable , so it will have a less chance of snapping in the future.

Its the two part cable which allows it to stay out the way of other stuff. You Sporting owners won't understand.

Its left hand drive by default ... they didn't pay the 1008cc RHD conversion much attention either lol (clutch cable )

yes guys it was the speedo cable i went the garage and he told me now i have to get one and try and fit it.

It depends on which cluster you have. The later one piece cable will fit the later cluster. It seems that the early cluster is only up to 94.
