Technical Help 2004 jtd2.8 motorhome will not start

2004 JTD 2.8 not starting. Engine turns over but not starting. Initially alarm was constantly sounding and couldn't stop it. I have disconnected battery overnight and alarm seems to have reset but still not starting. Power to accessories seems to be missing i.e. radio will not turn on will ingnition on or off. Checked fuses swapped some relays round in case duff. Battery new and full but apart from starter motor everything else behaves like battery is flat.

Any suggestions.

Try an extra earth from battery negative to engine metalwork

Is the immobiliser clearing ok?

I'll look at the earth thanks, how do I check the immobiliser?

Immob.

There is a symbol of a lock:key

It should flash on at turn off key.. but go out before glowplug symbol

Have you tried both keys?

It may have had an additional imobiliser fitted if aftermarket alarm fitted
