Unlikely, but then the vehicle is about 25 years old. Possibly a greater risk would be from the failing starter battery slowly becoming discharged.
Also please note that standard advice when carrying out any electrical on a vehicle, is to disconnect the battery negative first, however with later vehicles there is a special procedure to be followed.
With motorhomes there are often multiple connections to the vehicle battery. Perhaps taking a photo before starting work will record what was connected where. The battery will be heavy. I tucked a scrap piece of wooden board under the raised front end of the battery, before sliding it out, anf lowering to the ground.
Make sure that you have any necessary radio codes, before disconnecting the battery.
