hello all, over the last few weeks i have noticed the punto become very jumpy and juddery when idle, both from cold and hot, sometimes in traffic, the whole car would shake from this, recently been serviced, plugs oil, oil filter, air filter, all leads been checked, however this problem started before the service.
please help many thanks

hello agen all :)

this problem is still on going :( changed coil packs, no diffrence, i have noticed that it becomes more "violent" wen the car is at running tempreature, if i hold the car at 2000 rpm in neutral, the car judders every 2 secs. Anyone got any ideas???

Sounds like engine is running O.K, have you checked the engine mounts for wear/tightness?

Hi... It also sounds like plug leads. Some guys remove the leads from the plugs by pulling on the wire itself which damages them... They should be removed by pulling on the rubber at the base of the lead.
Hope this helps.

Hi, check you've got the correct sparkplugs fitted as incorrect ones can confuse the ECU, I would recommend NGK plugs.

It might be but the clutch does nothing when the engine is at idle speed.

Get it checked by someone who knows what they are doing. Fiat main dealer or Fiat specialist.

If it goes on for long you could ruin your catalyst (very expensive).

This happened to me, the garage that put in my spark plugs didn't tighten them up enough - fearing they would over tighten them. So over time the spark plugs are popping out pushing up the HT Leads causing it to misfire. Maybe check thses too.
