why is 3k high? from a dealer remember, most books say £3500. are the electrics as bad as they say, and are they are thirsty?

Cheers
Andy

My P97 with 51k cost £2995 from the dealers last November. First service, cambelt and rear shocks was £1036. I don't know where you live so £3k may be fine, especially if it is in very good condition.

The BOO site (in Donz's post above) gives lots of useful info. The electrics are not that bad, just be wary and check them, and i'm currently getting around 24mpg on short/cold runs.
