Morning all,

Newly arrived on the fiat scene, we now have a fiat 500 1.2. Looking forward to the forum

Rich

Welcome Rich. Hope you don't have any problems with the new car, but if you do I'm sure someone on here will know how to help. The 1.2 has to be the "sensible" choice in terms of reliability and ease of maintenance. We have a 2010 1.2 Panda and it costs "peanuts" (relatively speaking) to keep us mobile.

Do you do your own "spanner weilding"? If so take a look at the Shop4parts website. Helpful people with good quality stuff and good prices as long as your order is big enough to qualify for the free shipping. I haven't needed anything from them recently but last time I placed an order I was able to use the forum discount - not a massive amount, but worth having on a larger order.

Here's a link into their Fiat Parts: https://www.shop4parts.co.uk/?name=store&op=PartFinder&Manufacturer=2&items=Fiat_Parts

Just to reassure you, I have no vested interest in them other than being a very happy customer of theirs.

Edit. By the way it's worth knowing they often have stuff not listed on their website, or can source stuff for you, so a phone call is always worth the effort if you don't find what you are looking for. Nice helpful people too - no high pressure sales.
