Hello to all from a newbie from near Liverpool, UK. Currently running a Grande Punto 1.9 in Eleganza spec. Other car in family is an Alfa Romeo 159 1.9 JTDm 150 Lusso, so Italian machinery is well represented here!! Have also either run or helped to run three other Alfas in the past (two 155s and a GTV) so I hope I am by now well used to the little Italian fairies that inhabit these vehicles, and their odd ways 
. However, I have found that all you need to do is a little regular maintenance, and they are no worse than any other vehicle, except for the spirit that seems to be in them that is so difficult to explain to others..
