Hi folks,
I joined here a while back but have spent most of my time on punto sports club, been spending more time on here since getting another sporting and thought it about time I said hello.
my name is Thomas I live in south-weat Scotland with my girlfriend Shonagh and my dogs Daisy and Luna:

Here is the first sporting we owned,

I am 31 now and sometimes think I am getting to old for the GT but I love a bit of boost!
Here is one of the GT, aka Black Boosty, the day we collected it from Luton (check out the wheels!)

and a couple more from a while back

and more up to date

I have had it for five years now, had to take the dash out to replace the heater matrix so removed the full interior and rubbed back, welded and painted everywhere. It recently developed a missfire and it took ages to learn it was a worn lobe on the camshaft :banghead: Replaced it with a camshaft from a Fiat X19 and it runs like a dream, I am told this cam is ideal for a bigger turbo.
I have lots to go on it , Still lots I would like to do to it. The SOHC engine is great and its amazing what can be built with other fiat parts (1.6, 1.9). I think I will have it for a while so who knows .
Now the inside and under the car is all painted and protected I will start on the Abarth kit and rest of the paint work, only a couple of stonechips to sort and spray, and a few hours with a rotory polisher.
After looking at loads of makes of cars we could not help but get another sporting for a second car, and here it is

we have these cobra's in it now but thats the only mod along with some blue mats
[attachment=1:2c4dd79s]Image055.jpg[/attachment:2c4dd79s]
This site is a wealth of information and I'm sure I will be a Fiat fan for years to come. I would love to hear from other GT/Sporting owners in the south-west but I think GT owners in Scotland are few and far between.
Thanks for reading, look forward to meeting up, any one ever go to any Irvine cruises?
