Hi. Its a 2010 100hp in white. Only picked it up last night. 60 mile drive home had me grinning all the way.
Pretty standard. Ragazzon SS exhaust and Koni shocks.
It'll get an oil and filter at weekend even though it's only covered 2k since the last service. A good clean and polish is in order as well
Needs the wheels refurbing and front tyres in a few months. So the wheels will have to wait until I get tyres.
I'll post a pic in a couple of days.

How are you getting on with your little red devil?

Sounds like you’ve gotta nice one with exhaust and shocks done ? What kinda mileage has it got on her. I asked a lot of questions on here about the grade and spec of oil to use. I eventually went for Millers 10w-40 full synthetic Nanodrive. Cheapest place I found it was from - jjcraceandrally off eBay- £44.37 delivered.

The previous owner always ran it on a synthetic oil (5-40) there was a marked difference in engine sound and smother running with the Millers oil. I’ll be purchasing a few more this week ready for future oil changes.

I’ve only driven the “Red Devil ?” ( Has to be Nicknamed that from now on) some 200 miles back to home from where I purchased it. I, like you has a big smile on my face.

I’m getting the Devil ready for summer use as she’s a garage queen until then. The alloys have had an excellent refurbishment by the previous owner, so it’s a wash and clay bar this afternoon and some HD wax. I’ll try to get some pics done and post.

Few things I’d like to change in her. 1st being the exhaust system so ( I have a Celica GT4 205 import with a Blitz Nur Spec R system that makes a fantastic note) I’m interested in what you think of yours and the Koni shocks. Are you gonna change the springs? If you are, take a look at the suspension spring cups to see the condition. I’ll be rust proofing these in the spring. No pun intended ?

It's done 84k.
Miller's sounds like the way forward.
The spring cups are solid with a light rust coat were the paint has evaporated.
Like you. She will be undersealed when the weather picks up.
We'll use her as an occasional daily driver and as a motor home tow car on occasions.
I'll probably leave the springs for now, they have been replaced according to the service history. But no brand listed. The ride is what I expected and handles well enough for us.

It's got a pioneer system that links to a smart phone. I need to read the instructions to figure connectivity.

The exhaust sounds great. I stopped for fuel and had people turning to look when I fired her up again.

The ?hp will look very nice on the back of the Motörhome for sure. I’m using either Shell V-Power or BP Ultima in an effort to help clean the fuel/combustion as the Shell has 25% more additives than regular fuels.

I’m gonna have to “YouTube” a vid on the exhaust note now to see what they sound like ??

The FB groups don't seem to think that premium fuel is any better. The engine isn't designed to run on high octane.
Have you looked the likes of seafoam?. There are a lot of YouTube vids with it being tested. Some show good results at removing the carbon..

I haven’t been on the FB page, something for me to take a look at while I’ve gotta day off. I’ve seen some vids on the Sea Foam additive. I would rather use products like BG44k (BG 244 in diesels) or the Archoil stuff. For me I the 99RON fuel will have a cleaner burn and also give the car a bit more “Grunt” if you should need it.

I’ve been using the premium fuels like ( Tesco Momentum, made by Green energy if I remember correctly) Shell for a few years now in all of our petrol and more importantly in our Honda/Toyota oil burners. I’ve had a lot of different MOT testers comment on how clean and low the diesel exhaust emissions are. So for me, it suggests that it’s doing a good job and I get more Mpg out of the tank. But again, it’s horses for corses in most automotive stuff ?
