Hi all from New Zealand, hoping to get some help getting our Stilo arbath 2.4 moving again as it has lost the ability to move forward or backwards , got gears but no go ....
going try and fix it myself so looking forward sharing ideas and avoiding mistakes with your help.

Has one of the drive shafts fell out at either end?

lol noooo, suspect clutch, but hoping jt will be something simple like dodgy electrics, i had another stilo that went into limp mode so i left it sitting for 3 months and it fixed itself so i know they can be a bit weird.

But you said it had gears. If no clutch are you grinding it into first and reverse?

yes selects gears [selespeed] but no drive ....was thinking maybe air in selespeed system....i am getting code reader tomorrow so that should help narrow it down ,sometimes the dash has the gearbox failure sign
