Hi all

Yes, I'm new to the Fiat Forum!

Just acquired a Panda 4x4 so thought I'd keep up to speed on info via the forum - good tip about the boot light I see!

The Panda, black, is for work in the Yorkshire Dales, has a tow bar, roof rack etc and will be working for its living! Only had it for a week but already found out that if driven like an Italian then drives really well, leans a bit, but doesn't fall over (or at least, not yet!), hangs on and goes pretty well once up to speed. The extra height means you can see over the walls / hedges so can keep the foot down if need be. MPG is pretty poor (c.38mpg), esp when coupled with what turns out to be a very small fuel tank - but then again I have been driving it pretty hard! I will find a way of lining out the boot / back of the rear seat so I can carry scratchy items without damaging the interior and then I think that will be about it!

However, so far so good, fun to drive and hopefully adaptable enough for me to be able to work from it, and so much better than the Vauxhall van I was also being offered by the boss! Coped well with the snow we had on Monday well too- good fun! Almost worth losing my beloved Alfa for...

Ciao for now!

James
