Well, thought i would say hello to everyone a second time!

i did sign up in 2009, but havent been on here for nearly 2 years, as i had too much happening to entertain going on forums.

Anyways, just a quick re-introduction to get re-aquainted with everyone, i live in the Falkirk area, own a pretty mint condition 1998 Punto Gt(3) in broom yellow.

I have recently started dismantling the engine, and having never attempted this before, feel i might be being a tad brave, but, gotta learn somehow!

If there are any enthusiastic mechanics on here, help wont be refused!

Anyways, as long as i dont end up with a box full of scrap, it should be up and running for summer, hopefully sooner, and i can attend a meet!

I hope so too! Otherwise i'm stuck driving the 1.0 vw Polo lol

starting to remove my cylinder head today.. should be fun.

Not even using a manual, just bravery.

I prefer to figure things out, as a list of steps would maybe make it easier, but, i wouldnt possibly learn as much. Maybe.. lol

Yeh, i'm quite enjoying it actually!

Just need to sort out getting the parts i need. Might wait til next payday, as i want to get this Polo through an mot too, use it til i wanna put mine back on the road.. no rush, be as well doing everything at the same time!
