Hello, here's my X1/9

It's a standard '81 X with Eurosport body kit. I've had it a few months now and am gradually gaining confidence in both driving it and not having it breaking down on me. Minor maintainance has included electrics, carb cleaning, correct gearbox oil finding, exhaust welding, mild bodywork refilling of rusty areas etc. I'm sure all this comes as routine for owners of these cars. Driving it is pretty special but I'm not one for too much attention though, which can be a minor irritation.

This bodykit looks much better than the original 1500cc with it's big bumpers but I personally prefer the elegance of the early 1300's. But they're rare in this country I believe
